A red-brown beer with a fine but disappearing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of roasted malt, caramel and nuts. The flavor is very roasted with notes of nuts as well as some burnt notes - I pick up more honey notes than maple sirup. The body is thin. joergen (29180) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 12, 2006

17th June 2008. Surprisingly sour and unsweet ale. Doesn’t taste of maple. Very drinkable if not as sophiticated as a Belgian sour.
