Bottle from Casanova. All I can think is this bottle mus be old. Very old. I get none of the good stuff others have mentioned, I just get stale and mildly astringent beer. Ooff.

Sweet and grapefruity. Typical IPA aroma. Lovely auburn hue to the body. Head disapates quickly. I liked this IPA.

Nice honey herbal hoppy pine aroma. Amber colour, quickly fading head, maybe a little undercarbonated. Nice bitter pine, vanilla, apple hoppy taste. Nice IPA.

Bottle. Hazy golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma of grass, floral, and citrus. Mild sweet taste. Medium body, lively carbonation, mild bitter and citrusy finish. Refreshing IPA, more balance between malt and hops than most IPAs. Pretty good overall.

12oz bottle pours clear copper with a thin tan head of foam that leaves behind sparse spotty lacing. The faint aroma feebly offers up a sense of malts and citrus. Unlike the timid aroma the flavor offers up some fairly nice notes. I get a decent degree of citrus hop flavor mixing with some sweet malts with just a mild resiny hop bitterness in the background. Fairly smooth unchallenging IPA that, if found fresh, isn’t a bad choice for a tasty IPA.

Slipstream (2625) - USA - NOV 14, 2012
Tommyknocker has been getting more distribution in the Northeast lately, and that is a good thing. Russet-amber pour with a nice head. The mellow pine resin aroma suggests a West Coast style IPA, and the flavor confirms it - but it is not as dry as those tend to be. Slightly oily and resinous, with some grapefruit juice and a bit of the ol’ cat piss. A good IPA.

Lots of sediment and hazy our cloudy. Good aroma but doesn’t really taste like a true ipa. Had bottle from world market.

Bottle. Roasted hop, slightly sweet and citrusy. A creamy texture. Nice balance

12oz bottle, orange, cloudy, frothy head, slight hoppy/grass hops, some aroma of caramel malts maybe. light sweetness, sweeter than most ipa’s, lightly bitter, medium body, slight bitter. A decent ipa, maybe if they tweek this a little, has the potential to be a great one.

Smells much better than the flavor. The hops are there but are strangely a bit soapy. This beer is okay but isn’t memorable at all.
