Bottle. Hazy golden color, medium off-white head. Aroma of grass, floral, and citrus. Mild sweet taste. Medium body, lively carbonation, mild bitter and citrusy finish. Refreshing IPA, more balance between malt and hops than most IPAs. Pretty good overall.

Cloudy amber beer with a thin off white head that leaves a little lace. Nose of mandarin orange, pine, and dough. Flavor is actually mild for an IPA with some citrus, resin, and apple cider vinegar over a lightly sweet caramel malt base. The hop flavor subsides fairly rapidly though with not a whole lot of finish. Decent, not great.

Draught @Tommyknocker, Helsinki. Amber coloured with a thin, small white head. Nice fruity, hoppy, pineapples. Flavor has sweetness, fruits, grape. Nice and fresh.

Pours an orange color. Pretty cloudy. About one finger frothy white head with big bubbles. Decent retention, odd lacing. The clumpy bubbles cling to the glass. Cool!

Aroma is caramel. Roasted malts. Very earthy and woodsy. Its almost like a musk scent. Some citrus zest.

Taste follows the nose. Woodsy, orange zest. Malty, yet leans bitter. A little resin on the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Hops arent so much bittering, more so earthy than anything. Does not finish very clean. A little gritty.

Overall, its not bad. A little different than your usual IPA, because it is so earthy. The weird lacing last all the way to the finish. I want to love it, but I dont. Its a little odd, maybe even experimental. Id probably recommend it because it is so different. However, I wont buy it again. The best part about it is the lacing. Seriously, that was cool! Was that unintentional?

Backlog entry: Flight at the brewery. A nice selection, several IPAs. Good all-around. True to style.

Nice and beautiful, amber orange beer with a long lasting cloudy head. Mild aroma has some notes of caramel and wood and maybe a bit herbs. Taste is light bitter. Some grapefruit and citrus, little wood and caramel. Not very fresh or exotic fruity. Little spices on tongue.

Bottle. Moderate to heavy roasted, caramel and bread for the malt, light to moderate cooked orange for the hops, moderate dough for the yeast, with raisin and dried fig in the background. Head is average size, starting fizzy/frothy turning creamy, off-white with some slippery lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy dark amber. Flavor starts lightly sweet and moderately acidic, then finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. Palate is medium, oily with a soft to lively carbonation and a dry finish. Not a bad beer, but too malt dominant for my tastes in an IPA.

Light brown beer with a beige foam. Quite nice creamy and fruity aroma. Round and soft bitterness. Some caramel and bread in the flavor. Not a lot of grape fruit or grassy bitterness. Love the mouth feel though. Overall a pleasant experience.

Malt bomb. This smells like Im going to hate it. The malt tastes like old moly leather shoes. Not good. Pour is a cloudy golden. Ugh. Why did I drink such bad beers early in 2014?
