Meh...OK beer. Aroma was decent. Molasses, brown sugar and notes of pumpkin pie spice. Pour was a dark brown with deep red amber hues with a thin off white film for a head. Taste was very subdued. The molasses and brown sugar drown out any spices that are there. The finish brings out some nutmeg. Nice carbonation. OPIE788 (336) - Ohio, USA - AUG 21, 2014
Bottle. Poured black with a tan head. Light spice aroma with a hint of the molasses. I like a subtle pumpkin ale, but this is a bit too subtle. Very light spice taste with a dark molasses finish. This fell short for me. arondee (601) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - AUG 16, 2014
Pours a dark brown/black color with a very small head. Aroma is pumpkin, chocolate malt, and caramel. The taste is biscuits, pumpkin, watery chocolate malt, and a little caramel sweetness. Not bad but overall pretty boring. GreatDane1632 (1169) - North Dakota, USA - JUN 29, 2014

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 2/3/2014. Pours lightly hazy deep ruby brown color with a 1 finger dense light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of pumpkin, caramel, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, light chocolate, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove, light ginger, herbal, and toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of malt, spice, and pumpkin notes; with solid strength. Taste of pumpkin, caramel, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, light chocolate, cinnamon, nutmeg, light clove, light ginger, herbal, and toasted earthiness. No bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pumpkin, caramel, brown sugar, toast, biscuit, light chocolate, nutmeg, herbal, and toasted earthiness on the finish for good bit. Nice balance, complexity, and robustness of pumpkin, malt, and light-moderate spice flavors; with no cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a moderately creamy and smooth mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a nice pumpkin ale. All around good robustness and balance of malt, pumpkin, and spice flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering. rollinsr (813) - Atlanta, GEORGIA - JAN 13, 2014
Pours brown with tan head. Aroma of gingerbread spices. Taste is more spices with some pumpkin and molasses. Pretty good pumpkin beer. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - DEC 22, 2013
Helped a neighbor move some furniture and he tossed me one of these. Nothing of note besides that its an average pumpkin beer with moderate spice. And that perhaps there was one more spice than your typical pumpkin. Decent but at this point I am well past the spice pumpkin beers for the year. Caramel Ruby dark copper appearance low head, slight lace. Vegetale and mild unidentified spices aroma and light brown sugar, kind of like the realness of this pumpkin aroma has a slight fruitiness. Taste is caramel light spice nutmeg/clove are a bit more noticable but altogether not overspiced. Has some slickness texture you get from real pumpkin and the brown sugar with mild sweetness and mild clove seem to meld together well. I like this for a 5%er its got more of a richness to it in its style than an average pumpkin ale, probably from molasis taste. Earthyness stands out also. Pretty decent if you like pumpkin ales with a little richer feel in a milder abv. Kind of hits you like a nice mildly spiced brown ale.
