I wasnt a fan of this one. I took 3 drinks and poured it down the drain. I typically only buy singles of vegetable beers only for the rating and that was the case here.

Draft. Dark pumpkin ale. Reasonable spice, body is just a little light for the aroma and taste. All around not bad pumpkin.

Bottle. Very dark amber to near ruby brown pour. Short, foamy tan head. Aroma is spice, burnt pumpkin pie, caramel, light spicy hops and toasted malt. Taste is caramel, light pumpkin pie, molasses, soft spice, hints of toffee and sweet malt. Body is medium with soft carbonation. Ends with more spice, caramel, pumpkin pie, molasses and light toffee.

Tap. Pours dark brown with thin, fizzy off-white head; short retention and spare lacing. Aroma is burnt grain, dark fruit, caramel malt, earthy hops, and no pumpkin... Flavor is dry, bland malts, bad dark fruit notes, and the same burnt notes found on the nose; dry finish. Light/medium body and low carbonation.

UPDATED: OCT 2, 2012 Pours a dark brown/deep burnt orange, with a light kahki head that doesnt last very long but leaves a gentle thin cap. Aroma is typical of many pumpkin beers, kinda pumpkiny with some gentle earthy spiciness, perhaps a bit of nutmeg (but no cinnamon), and a dark sweetness. The flavor is nice and mellow and smooth, neither too sweet or too spiced. Nice base of what seems like a light brown ale with some sweet dark toffee malt, followed by a not-too-sweet pumpkin essence, with some gentle pumpkin spice and a mellow molasses tone thats definitely not over sweet, but actually comes off kinda dry. Totally lacking any ginger flavor, which is a plus. A wonderful autumn ale.

bottle from Gingerman to enjoy Patriots vs Ravens game at home. Pours deep mahogany with no head to speak og. Aroma is very faint especially for a pumpkin beer just the light typically spicing. Tastes of nutmeg, cinnamon, light pumpkin, cardboard, malt, but all of these are extremely subdued. Palate is very thin and this just lacks any um ph or excitement.

Pours dark brown with a thin white head. Aroma is molasses, pumpkin, nutmeg and caramel. Taste is sweet with some spicy undertones. Medium bodied with some stickiness. I thought this was pretty solid, the pumpkin came through more as it warmed and this was seasoned appropriately.

Pretty typical as far as most pumpkin beers go. It added uninspiring doses of nutmeg and cinnamon and molasses to an otherwise uninspiring base marzen. Not bad, but just nothing crazy. Didn’t really pick up any pumpkin either.

A darker pumpkin beer but i feel like it nails pumpkin pie pretty well. Gues this is just how my grams makes it.

Dark amber beer with a thin off white head. NIce spicey nose with burnt sugar, nutmeg and cinnimon notes. Thin beer, with lots of water in the taste. Molassess sweetness with some burnt sugar, nutmeg, cinnimon and pie crust. Really too watery, but the flavor is right for a pumpkin beer.
