Very foxy beer with a golden shine; good yellowish head, short lived. Slightly smoked, bit cookie nose, subdued. Sweet, biscuity, toasted flavours, but with an empty palate. Not light, bit empty in the palate, all the while being fizzy, slick and even oily. Sweet ale. I suppose it’s much better on cask. Thanks to Stefaan

500 ml bottle courtesy of geth_in_beer. Very hazy orange coloured beer with a creamy off-white head. Lovely crackery sweet Maris Otter malt base with earthy hops and an orange marmalade fruitiness. Soft Goldings add a spicy note that pairs well with the wheaty spice that is also on display. Creamy texture. Sweet earthy maltiness, spicy/woody hops and a sweet white grape/berry fruitiness. Leafy bitterness. Finishes refreshingly dry with light honeyish sweetness. The first British bitter I’ve had in awhile and it reminds me of why I enjoy this style so much. Thanks Geth.

Sweet, crisp aroma. Clear copper colour. Nice white thin head with a medium carb. Watery texture, hint of wheat and sweet fruit. Nice bitterness with a pleasant tang.

Bottle: Orangey to amber coloured, medium sized fluffy and long lasting head; fruity (orange, citrus) and stronger aromatic hoppiness in the aroma; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, velvet MF; good bitterness and a blend of hops, malt and citrus fruit in the clean, lasting finish. Nice...........
