nybol (2280) - DENMARK - JUL 13, 2017
En god maltsødme der glider over i en bitterhed der ikke er ret gennemtrængende.

Pours a dark brown colour with a firm white head, chocolate malt aroma, light bitter malt taste, with a dry bitter finish.

500ml bottle from Wyevale Llansamlet. Dark chestnut brown, pretty clear, sparkling, big foamy beige head, thick lacing. Aroma is biscuity malt, a little metallic. Body is light, very foamy, medium carbonation. Taste is dry and nutty, medium bitter, tangy raisin. Decent, rich, full-flavoured bitter.

Nice chocolate malt aroma. Poured a deep chestnut with a big white head. Tastes quite bitter with hints of chocolate.

Bottle 50cl, a dark amber beer with low head. Nose is on toasted and chocolate malt with caramel and toffee touch. Aroma is on bitter caramel, with dark chocolate notes, light burnt caramel, grassy hops and relative bitterness, hint of dry stout, pleasant.

Beesbeer (452) - WALES - DEC 12, 2012
Great colour, ruby red, nice head, and an immediate grainy, doughy, malty warmth and depth.

3.6
ManVsBeer (10801) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2012
Dark ale with a slight red glow. Sweet tasting with winter fruits in the aroma for a suitable winter ale. Has a mild toffee flavouring and easy to drink.

beerisgoodforu (992) - Nørresundby, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2010
Bottle. My first Welsh beer. Pours a maroon red color with a frothy beige head. Aroma is of toasted malts, hops, dark fruit and caramel. Flavor is of the toasted malt, hops, floral and fruity notes (not in the way of dark fruit though), along with some toffee and caramel notes. The body is medium and slightly dry. Overall a pretty nice ESB. Nice to have a slightly mild British beer, after having so many big and bold American beers.

Bottled (from Estate Wine). Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some rather toasted notes, mild toffee and fudge. Flavour is caramel malts, some toasted notes, toffee and mild notes of caramel. Pleasant.
