2009-10-11. Lightly hazy amber body, beige head. Mild aroma, lightly caramel kissed toasty malt. 6+ Flavour is similar, sweet malt base, dry toasty malt accents, caramel notes. Average plus palate is a touch flat. Likely a pleasant cask candidate. Pleasant, simple, decent session brew. Bottle from the UK c/o Mabels brother.

Pours a semi hazy amber brown with a very small white head. Medium sweet aroma with pears, light caramel and nutty. Flavor is very nutty (from the Maris Otter I am sure), malty sweet and a very light earthiness. Low carbonation, light bodied. One of the Best Bitters I have had out of a bottle.

bottle - Poured murky brownish yellow color with thick foaming head that quickly faded. Aroma - caramel apples and sweet pears. Flavor - tasted like the aroma... apples, pears and some sweet caramel malt. Palate - Light/medium bodied with average carbonation. Goes down easy and finish is somewhat bitter. Overall - I am actually surprised by this beer. Paid $1 for this beer and liked it. Its nothing that great but easy to drink and very cheap!!
