Clear golden colour with large white foam. Aromas sweet of malt, banana peel, dry yeast, bread and in a way reminds of a wheat beer. Palate, medium body with slick texture and well carbonated to leaving very very light boozy finish. Taste, sweet and malty with notes of sweet bread and buns as well as carrying notes, of wheat and yeast with light boozy touch at the end. Overall, nice brew, not too outstanding but enjoyable. tommann (4061) - Dudley, West Midlands, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2018

33 cl. bottle @ Home
Aroma: not very intense aromas of toasted malts, biscuits, grains, spices, caramel, burnt caramel. Subtle unfermented grains and cardboard nuances.
Appearance: golden color with slightly off-white head. Medium to high head thickness. Almost perfectly clear (low to medium hazyness when the yeast from the bottom of the bottle is added to the beer). Medium-high retention. Very creamy head. Medium Brussels' lacing.
Taste: low to medium sweetness, low to medium bitterness, no sourness. Not very intense flavors of malts, toasted malts, biscuits, grains, unfermented grains, spices, caramel, burnt caramel, burnt sugar. Some subtle flavor of grapes/wine. Some acidic/citric overtones appeared toward the finish. Balance is more sweet at first and more toward the bitter side at the end.
Palate: low to medium body, watery to oily-silky texture, medium to high carbonation, not very long medium dry finish of malts, toasted malts, biscuits, grains, spices, grapes. Alcohol and carbonation are quite noticeable in the mouth and throat.
Overall: aromas and flavors quite subtle and not unpleasant, but alcohol and carbonation is too noticeable. Not my type of beer, but not bad. A bit one-dimensional, but not bad. wilde_joost59 (378) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 3, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 3, 2017 From tap at the Grote Markt in Antwerpen. Nice beer, deep golden color, good white head, aftertaste a bit thin. Schnabelhund (108) - TAIWAN - SEP 19, 2017
Tongerlo Blond pours a hazy amber to copper color with a frothy off-white head that leaves nice lacing behind. The nose carries notes of bright fruits such as pineapple, green apple, and citrus as well as malty notes of honey and molasses. The simple cereal attack is followed by a mid-palate of the fruit notes from the nose and then by an acidic zesty finish with a little tang and warmth from the alcohol. The sharp carbonation gives this brew a nice little zing. Not bad, if a little simple.
