UPDATED: OCT 10, 2014 Bottle 33lc, a cloudy copper orange beer with good head. Nose is on orange, aroma is a bit spicy, medium sweet, light diacetyl, peppery hops, citrus finish. A basic triple like beer with lemon touch. ------- Re rated, similar hop profile as the Orval, good for a common belgian blond.

savnac (2391) - Anchorage, Alaska, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Bottle in Belgium. Amber blonde with a huge white head. Aroma of malt, spicy esters and sugar. Flavor is sugary malt, light spice and faint bitterness. Medium to light body. Decent beer but kind of bland.

Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 6, 2014
Sugary yeast aroma profile, notes of citric and sweet fruits. Hazy orange, white cap of head. Spicy and metallic sweetness, almost tart or salty. Seafoam body, a touch of hop kick in an otherwise crushable beer. Decent for this style, however, not worth the quad ale pricing. Best by 6/3/15 and imported by MHW, Manhasset NY.

StueyD (1584) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JUL 8, 2014
A mid orange coloured beer with a frothy white head. A light aroma of malt, with spice, clove in particular and a hint of tropical fruit. Dry mouthfeel. A tart fruit flavour to start, pithy citrus fruit, then a slightly sweeter banana-led tropical fruit flavour. The taste is rounded off with a clove candy taste, which lasts into the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

330ml bottle server in its own chalice. A: Pours a cloudy dark yellow color forming a huge white and very soapy head with excellent retention and tons of lingering soapy white lacings around the glass. Classic Belgian Tripel look. S: Strong notes of sweet pale malts, fruits and honey. Spicy hints. Flowery hops, grassy hops, orange zest and grapefruit. Earthy and bready yeasts. T: Sweet upfront. Notes of sweet pale malts, fruits and honey. Sweet bread, cloves, grapefruit, orange zest. Good grassy and citrus bitterness to make the bittersweet balance. M: Heavy molasses body. Medium carbonation. Sweet, bready and citrus aftertaste. O: Good drinkability. Classic Belgian Triple. [ Enjoyed in a pub in Aarlon - Belgium. Returning from Mi-Orge Mi-Houblon - 04/05/2014 ]
