Bottle. Pours a hazy deep orange colour with a medium fairly lasting white head laving a good lacing. The aroma is seet and fruity with yeast and spices. Good mouthfeel. Draught @ Den Tatoveret Enke. Nice big white head that mostly lasted. Somewhat clear sparkling body with a somewhat dark golden color. Aroma of spice, yeast, caramel, grain and some heavy underlying fruity notes as well. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and hint of warming alcoholic texture. Flavor was sweet with a hint of acidic. Sweet fruity finish. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - DEC 11, 2007

Fraca no aroma, essa breja tem paladar de malte, fermento e cravo. Não impressiona muito, mas tem boa drinkability.

Poured from a 33cl bottle.
Aroma: overall heavy, a little alcoholic, then some fruits.
Appearance: Gold with little haze from yeast depot, stable white head.
Flavor and Palate: It was slightly metallic (like blood), after this medium bitter an less sweet and fruity. Overall too light and thin for my expectation, hence something dissatisfying. Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 5, 2007
Bottle 33cl. It pours a nice hazy copper beer with a whitish head. The nose is of corn, vanilla, glue and banana. Quite yeasty. Vanilla, bubblegum, yeast and malt in the taste with an underlying alcoholic presence. Sweet and slightly spicy. Soft mouthfeel. The finish is yeasty with hints of honey. thewolf (12634) - Kolding, DENMARK - DEC 2, 2007
Tap @ YNWA, Kolding. Pours a clear golden with a small creamy white head. Aroma is sweet malty with a slight dose of spicyness. Quite full and round mouthfeel. Sweet taste with flavours of ginger, anise and vanilla. Nice and good - quite refreshing for a Belgian Christmas beer. jalichio999 (502) - BRAZIL - NOV 29, 2007
Garrafa. Coloração âmbar levemente turva, com creme branco fraco. Cravo. Fermento. Final levemente seco. Carbonatação média/alta. Blonde tradicional. Boa drinkability. KnutAlbert (6753) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 25, 2007
It says blonde on the bottle, but it is bordering on ambré. Nice and spicy, including vanilla. But the label says maize, too, which makes my alarm bells ring. I doubt there is real vanilla, too. Minus for cheating!
