Good beer overall. Nothing really special, just solid good..Poured with an off white foamy, frothy head that settled down shortly and some lace. Color is a clear medium amber. Aroma is yeasty, malty, and spicey. Flavor is similar with a tinge of sour in the background. A little sweetness, but really almost dry. Great body and excellent carbonation. A few hints of alcohol, but that’s fine. Nice finish. Could easily have another. Have to be careful though.

330ml bottle (Cambrinus, Brugge)
6 classic sweet mild blond aroma.
4 Rich orange, sticky doughy head
7 Yes, I know this is Haacht, but this is a quality blond. Rich malty body, gently bitter hops, good balance.
4 Full palate, smooth and a little sweet. Pleasant carbonation. Finnish gently hoppy, certainly quite muted, but they are real green noble hops.
14 Solid Belgian Abbey beer. Covers the alcohol very well.

Delirium (669) - Falmouth, Cornwall, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 29, 2012 Bottle. Pours slightly hazy amber, with a foamy, disappearing white head. Aroma and flavor are fruit, orange peel, bit of caramel, yeast, and mild hopping. Moderately sweet. Doesn’t seem particularly christmasy, but it’s fine as a Belgian ale.

Beautiful looking beer, amber brew with towering fluffy head. Mildly spicy and nutty, awesome head retention, slightly musty aroma. Earthy, wooden, nuts....I am drinking this way out of season, but it’s still good.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of fruit and malt, with notes of caramel, yeast, and spices. Sweetish, malty and fruity flavour, with bitter notes of hops and a touch of flowers. Bittersweet finish. Quite decent.

Bottle @home. Ramata, limpida, schiuma beige, fine e persistente. Aroma intenso fruttato di frutta (arance e cedro) candita. Zucchero candito, lievito belga e decisamente speziato di coriandolo e zenzero. Dolce abboccato caramellato, zucchero candito e crosta di pane al gusto. Poco amara, per nulla acida. Calda, poco carbonata, estremamente rotonda e corposa. Equilibrata ed armonica
