COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Tongerlo Prior is a full-bodied beer with fruity notes that develop into a spicy and slightly flowery bitterness of hops. An authentic abbey ale, the age-old tradition of the White Canons of Tongerlo lives on in this officially recognised Belgian abbey ale. Re-fermentation in the bottle gives this beer a more intense taste and aroma as well as a longer shelf life. Tongerlo Prior was chosen as the best European blond abbey/trappist ale in the 2011 World Beer Awards.

Almost clear golden color, with white head. Aroma coriander, sweet, malts, bit hops. Medium body. Taste is more hops than the other Tongerlo beers. Sweet, coriander, bitterness.

Kolor bursztynowy, klarowny, zaledwie p?centymetrowa bia?a piana, ktra momentalnie znika, pozostawiaj?c ?lad w formie pier?cienia.

Solid Tripel. Lots of banana, clove, citrus and sweet bread on the aroma. Very pleasant and sweet. Theres a lot of yeast floating around in it and it looks sort of cloudy and wonderful. Taste is bitter, but sweet and refreshing. Definitely a big beer but you dont even notice its 9%. Lots of banana and pepper in the taste. Overall, this is a great Tripel and kind of a surprise I found randomly. Cheers

A surprise discovery, along with its blond cousin, at Welcome in Muzha, drunk at home. Aroma: yeasty sgain. Appearance: slightly opaque, copper. Another foamy pour, big rocky head. Palate: thick and full-bodied. Taste: a good alcohol hit, but a bit too sweet for my liking. Id happily drink this one again, but the taste seems a little one-dimensional, a candy flavour predominates.

Bottle from Kvickly Nex. Golden to light amber body. Lots of sugar flavour. Esters. Some yeast and malt. Sweet, some bitterness. Quite thick body. Medium to soft carbonation. Too much sugar flavour in my opinion.
