12 ounce bottle at Outback Steakhouse. I was trying to stay true to the "native" cuisine. Seeing that all of the Australian beers offered were lagers, as were most of the "domestics," I chose a lager even though that usually doesn’t quite work out.
The pour was clear yellow with a thin white head that disappeared almost instantly. The nose was clean and of grains. The flavor was lightly nutty with a spicy "bite" at the very beginning. Nothing spectacular. I would pass next time it was offered. Lunkie (1943) - Glen Iris, AUSTRALIA - JUN 3, 2008
Stale malt hop aroma. Clear amber colour with fair head and lacing. Malt hoppy flavour with a hint of spice. Flat palate. bweezy (53) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - MAY 16, 2008
Pours a nice gold with large, quickly disappearing head. Very little aroma. Taste is smooth, not much after taste. Typical bland lager. Could certainly use more flavour. oldrtybastrd (5003) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - MAY 13, 2008
Pours a nice light golden yellow. Aromas of hops, grass, and maybe corn. Taste is crisp with a nice mellow hop flavor. chilangoglobal (105) - Mexico City, MEXICO - MAY 12, 2008
Nice appeareance, it’s screaming drink me!!, aroma sweet and chocolate, strong taste that remains after drink, It’s the first australian beer I ever tasted and make my experience as pretty to go further into australians beers.

It has a pale yellow color with a frothy white head. The aroma is light with a grainy and hay like nose. The flavor has a bland cereal grain malt with some grassy hops. A thin body lively carbonation and a clean finish make it very drinkable and refreshing. For a pale lager it’s about what you would expect but for over 5 bucks for a 12 oz. bottle at the Outback Steakhouse, its way over priced. clong83 (285) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 7, 2008
Pale lager. Decent for the style... But it’s a pale lager. Watery and metallic... Enough Said. bembelembe (219) - Zagreb, CROATIA - APR 28, 2008
Pale yellow colour, average head and carbonation. Corn and grainy aroma with sweet finish. ComradeK (1237) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - APR 12, 2008
Bleurgh! Tastes like fermented bat urine, and looks a bit like I’d imagine that would too. Avoid it like the plague! Bragesnak (5394) - Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 29, 2008
No suprices - a no-name lager
The hops help to see a difference
