From a can on a dive boat in the coral sea off the Australian coast. Crisp and clean. A decent pale lager and good way to end a day of diving.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht malzig, muffig, getreidig. Geschmack wässrig malzig, getreidig.

OLD NOTES OCT 9, 2003 Run of the mill tap beer in New South Wales. No idea why. Seriously rank skunky, metallic stuff, that is reminiscent of paint thinner when it reaches above 4°C. There’s a reason why they serve it at -1°C!

Pretty grim. Looks a lot better than it tastes, but that’s not saying much, believe me. Flavor a this beer is adjunct flavored grain with some generic sweet that wont go away. Not good. I feel a headache coming on. Weird body; almost feels like there’s glycerin in it. Stay away from this beer. :You’ll thank me.

Kita (2121) - Koper, SLOVENIA - FEB 7, 2014
Can, 0.375l. Clear pale golden color with medium frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of grainy malt, bread, grassy hops and some metallic notes. Taste starts with light sweet maltiness, follows sour grassy and bready with crisp and dry mouthfeel and light bitter finish. Light to medium body, slick texture and lively carbonation in palate. My first Aussie beer tried Down Under...

Another terrible beer from Tooheys I don’t think they could brew anything that tastes any good, just avoid any beer from Tooheys brewries.

Vanz (189) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - OCT 21, 2013
Better than Carlton... easy drinking pale lager, slightly sweeter malty flavour the your average Australian pale lager.

So I don't know why this beer is so underrated. I really enjoyed. It's nothing spectacular, but it's very refreshing and paired nicely with the salmon I had for dinner. I will say I had it on tap in Sydney which may account for differences of imported bottles. --- Beer in my belly makes me hoppy.

Can 375 ml on July 13, 2013.
At a place in a basement location, close to Harry’s on Hay Market, Sydney.
Was at a punk vs metal gig.
Clear golden color, white head. Sweet, sugary, fruity, chemical taste. Medium thin mouthfeel, very low bitterness. Sweet, sugary scent.

Light golden, decent carbonation and moderate head. Odorless. Dry palate, slight sweetness. Finishes dry and grainy.
