Good colour and nice lacing are the 2 things going for this beer. I want my pilseners to have a decent bite to them unfortunately this hasn't ,dry soapy taste medium thin texture and not much finish but easy to knock back a couple after a workout. bfgill (120) - Tasmania, AUSTRALIA - OCT 6, 2003
It has potential. After tasting Urquell I was hoping for some more Saaz action. But alas, my hopes faded as I tasted a beer that doesnt really wanna do anything. cheers lasonovich (151) - AUSTRALIA - OCT 3, 2003
A very strange pilsener. A weird chemical taste makes it difficult to drink. The colour is nice but it just isn't a pilsener at all. farmboy (218) - Barwon Heads, AUSTRALIA - AUG 12, 2003
Absolutely cannot stand this stuff. Seriously, I doubt I would drink it even it were for free. Hang on a second, of course I would, but regrettably. Jahills (151) - Cambridge (Hobart), AUSTRALIA - AUG 10, 2003
UPDATED: NOV 14, 2003 Allright tasting refreshing beer that is great for a hot day around the bbq after a long bowling spell in backyard cricket.

A reasonably nice beer, assuming you can find someone selling it for the right price. Wouldn't go out of my way to get it douver (5) - AUSTRALIA - JUL 30, 2003 does not count
quite nice beer for a couple of quiet ones after a hard day. Nice bitter taste with a hint of malt. Sully (1380) - Potts Point, New South Wales, AUSTRALIA - JUN 4, 2003
UPDATED: JUL 24, 2003 The insult is the reference to a real beer. Crisp- yes, hoppy- no, no lingering aftertaste- yes, regrettably damirvrkic (56) - Franklin ACT, AUSTRALIA - MAY 5, 2003
This ber is ok. But it is definitely not a real Pilsner. I can taste faintly saaz but the bitterness is definitely not from saaz but probably the normal Aussie PoR. Maybe I'm wrong. But compared to any Carlton beer, this is definitely better.
