On tap. Dark brown with a tan top. Scent is chocolate and sugar. Taste is sweet then bitter chocolate. Tastes good for a desert beer. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - MAY 1, 2012
Cask at brewpub. Looks like guinness- black with a creamy white head. Smells kinda like Hersheys syrup, lots of chocolate, very sweet. Flavor is kinda chalky, very bitter finish. For topo, not bad. emacgee (4676) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - MAY 1, 2012
Draught at the brewery, nitro I believe. Creamy sandstone tan head. Dark brown pour with ruby chestnut edges. Nose is very chocolaty, sweet chocolate. Smells like a glass of Nestle. Dominated by this character. Thin mouthfeel and bitter chocolate notes. Very bitter. Chocolate dominates here as well. Very little carbonation, medium body.
