Bottle from Oddbins Rosemount. Smooth Scottish wheat beer. Classic banana and spice notes present and correct but not as refreshing due to low carbonation. Certainly not bad but theres better wheat beers out there.

Bottle shared during Scopeys 5K tasting - Croydon, London. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a creamy white head. Light doughy wheat aroma, some yeast, dried lemon. Medium sweet flavor with more doughy wheat and little else. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweetly, with more dough, yeasty wheat, light cereal. OK.

500ml bottle pours a cloudy orange yellow with decent white head. Aroma is great, ripe bananas and banana sweets. Taste is sweet banana. Good mouth feel a bit of body and creaminess with medium carbonation. Some warm spice comes in on the fairly short finish. Not a lot to fault. A really good hefe from scotland.

Bottle from Glug, Newcastle. This is a cloudy yellow coloured beer with the usual lemon, vanilla and bubblegum flavours followed by a very dry spicy tart finish.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2014 500ml at home. German beers are often hit or miss for me, sometimes great but often unpleasant. This locally brewed (for me) beer gives a nice drinkable beer.

Bottle at Garys bbq. A bit of a gusher leading to a very lively carbonation. Wheaty lemon, banana and a faint clove. Not bad for a UK hefe and another solid offerings from these dudes.
