COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This spectacularly golden, medium bodied IPA was crafted from a winning combination of Golden Promise malt and Nugget hops.

Fall in love with the big hop aroma of our Golden Nugget as it mingles with fragrances of citrus and evergreen, followed by a floral sweetness. Tropical fruit flavors entice your taste buds before immediately captivating you with a bold, hop forward taste and a pleasant bitterness that lingers in the finish.

Difficult to find fault with this one, and after more than one, Im hardly inclined to. A nose that will knock your socks off, enough hop bitterness to satisfy your hop cravings, and a mouthful soft and full enough to keep this quaffable for a good session of beer drinking. Truly a great discovery in Iowa! I found this in a couple of places during our (my girlfriend/bride to be and mine) visit to Iowa City last week--Blackstone and Sanctuary. Worth checking out.

16 oz. can poured to a Czech-pils glass at Lunar Brewing Co., showing a lightly hazed, orangey gold color, with a modest layer of diminishing, off white foam, and web-like cling to the lacing. The nose was citrus as grapefruit & orange, maybe a little pit fruit, with a touch of pine, light caramel sweetness, and slight hints of mint & herb. Medium bodied, with average carbonation that presented a touch of seltzer-like quality, the taste was somewhat similar notes, adding earthy & rind-like bitterness, and some dryness to the finish. A little muddled, and not overly clean & bright, but a decent style rep.

Bidy is moderate to medium, texture smooth, carbonation is moderate to medium.

Pours a clear golden with a full, foamy white head that recedes slowly. The aroma is tropical, pleasing, potent enough without being overpowering. We get pineapple, orange, grapefruit, pine, floral hops, and caramel. Of these, the grapefruit and pineapple stand tall. The taste is sweet and dry with some solid bitterness. Grapefruit and pine are strong, some floral and herbal hops come through, a little pineapple, and finally a little bit of caramel. The aftertaste is a long, bitter grapefruit. Medium in body, sticky and thick in texture, and lively carbonation. Its a good IPA.

Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 12/12/2016. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, lemon zest, orange peel, light pepper, pine, honey, toasted bread, light caramel, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine/herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, apricot, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, pepper, pine, toasted bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for awhile. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and slightly resinous balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.8%. Overall this is an awesome IPA. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, moderately crisp, clean, and refreshing from the mellow bitterness. Very bright, floral, and earthy on hops; nice malt backbone without being sweet. A really enjoyable offering.

can from Alus Celle,
Pours pale amber, medium intense aroma of pine, fruity, slightly zesty tones. Medium bodied, taste - light sweet, medium+ bitter, moderate dry finish, avg lasting aftertaste. Overall tasty IPA but I prefer more hops infusion in flavor and aftertaste.

500ml can served in a pint glass, yeah! A: Pours a cloudy orange color forming a big and creamy white head with medium to low retention forming some molasses lacings in the glass. S: Nose is very flowery and fruity. Strong notes of grapefruit, caramel and honey. Notes of resin, pineapple and grass. T: Slightly sweet upfront becoming quickly, grassy, citrus and full of caramel notes. Grapefruit and pineapple. Notes of resin. Good bitterness. M: Medium body. Average carbonation. Grapefruit and caramel in the aftertaste. O: Excellent drinkability. Smooth and easydrinking. Very well done IPA.

Pours a slightly murky golden short white head with a gentle pour (WOB strikes again). Had a chance to pour that last bit from the bottom of the can in after taking a few sips, and a proud, well-retaining, rich, sticky off-white head appeared. Pineapple and orange bouquet immediately, with sweet, rich malt coming through after. Flavors follow suit. Not magical. Of course Im drinking a July 18, 2016 beer on February 17, 2017. Really disappointed, this being my first opportunity to ever get this beer.
