COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
First in our limited Hop Patrol series of aggressively hopped and auspicious ales, HOPSMACK! is here to rescue your palate. Giant aromas of pineapple and tropical fruit jump from this enticingly complex double IPA. True to its name, this brew delivers a heavy smack of dry hops and a double dose of bitterness in the finish.

66 cl bottle @ home. Pours hazy yellow with a white head that leaves some lacing. Arpóma and flavour are herbs, exotic fruit, and pine - with a bitter finish.

UPDATED: JAN 11, 2018 Pours super cloudy light orange with a nice small foamy head. Aroma: is awesome-a lot of pineapple coupled with mango, oranges, some touches of lime and lemon. Taste: also very fruity with a lot of pineapple, oranges and a touch of lime. All this is very smooth, super drinkable and based on a very light body, almost a bit too light body to my taste. There is a nice to-the-point bitterness in the palate, which is not overwhelming though.

kaserov (1111) - Oviedo, SPAIN - DEC 31, 2017
Similar a algunas DIPAs que he probado de Other Half. Mucho nivel.

Pours a cloudy amber from a bottle. Aroma is grapefruit pith, dank resin, soap and cut grass, flavor falls in line. Good, bitter, not malty.

22 oz bottle from Hy Vee Wine & Spirits - Muscatine. Cloudy orange colored appearance with a fluffy white head. Aroma of dank hops, citrus zest, tropical fruit, mild toasted grain, light earthy yeast and a hint of hop resin. Similar flavor, adding mild hop bitterness and minimal to light malt sweetness. Medium body with soft carbonation and a smooth finish. Pretty fresh and easy to drink overall. Nice.

Bottled. Pours gold color. The palate is juicy and crushable. The taste is mango hops. Orange and lemon zest. Lingering bitterness that stays for a while.

bookman10 (1305) - Osseo, Minnesota, USA - OCT 25, 2017
UPDATED: OCT 30, 2017 Pours a slightly hazy, orange-pineapple color, with minimal head. Strong aromas of citrus and tropical fruits, and some basement dankness. Flavor starts off dank and bitter, but there's a huge bouquet of citrus and tropical fruit in the mixture, as well as a pronounced pine/spruce hoppiness in the finish. Smooth, well-balanced beer. Really nice.
