Sampled from the tap at Mason City Brewing. Pours a clear reddish Amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of bread with straw and grain supporting. Flavor is bread and grain forward with a bit of straw in the finish.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear reddish pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, toast, dough into a bit of yeast, slight earth into a bit of spice, grass in there as well. Taste was a mix of orange, fruit, some pine into a bit of caramel, toffee, toast into a bit of spice, finishing slightly bitter, slightly sweet.

Marheb (5717) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 16, 2015
Caramel brûlé, agrumes, chocolat et une amertume progressive. La signature végétale est particulièrement alléchante et combiné à la maltitude, c’est un minerai de buvabilité.

3.4
Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - OCT 11, 2014
Draft at TG. Clear copper pour; cherry cola and caramel. Sweet, light body, short lightly bitter finish. Easy drinking beer.

DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 16, 2014
On tap at Dexter’s Pub in Madison, on GTMW eve. Mostly clear dark red color. Good thin off-white / khaki head. Leaves good bits of lace. Medium-plus body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Light slick texture. Some caramel malt. Dark fruit, earthy hoppy character. Light to moderate bitter taste, moderate sweet. Some nutty, chocolate notes in the finish. Pretty solid Irish red ale.
