COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This single hop pale ale showcases the Citra hop for a well balanced beer that is delicate in body with a mild bitterness in the finish. She roars with ferocious aromas of grapefruit, citrus, mango and evergreen. pseudoSue’s unique and addictive taste is clean and bright with just enough bite!

Admin Note: Previously brewed as a 5.8% ABV offering, current and future batches are listed at 7% ABV per a tweak and translating the beer to a larger 30 bbl system. Tweaks may continue to change this ABV slightly as they settle on an official end product.

A steady pour produces a two-finger thick, off-white / pale-tan colored head. The beer is a pale amber / golden color that shows a somewhat hazy, brighter version of the same when held up to the light. The aroma smells wonderfully hoppy with notes of ripe guava, kumquat zest, peach nectar, pineapple, herbal / piney mango, green peppercorn, grassy weedy herbal notes, a bit of dank hoppiness, and a candied, concentrated citrus zest character.

Light bodied, but not thin, with a medium carbonation, the malt character provides a hint of toasted, pale nutty character, but really this is just a vehicle for the hop character. The hop character is predominantly fruit focused, but there is a supporting herbal, grassy, slightly dank and spicy character here as well. Flavors of pineapple, lots of floral peach concentrate, tangelo zest, kumquat, guava jam, lychee, piney mango, and lots of Juicy Fruit bubblegum notes. There is a hint of toasted pale malt character here, and a rounded hint of honey hinting malt character, but only enough to support the hop character.

A wonderfully hoppy pale ale that really showcases the Citra hop character. I really like the tropical / fruit focus with ample supporting roles by the dank and herbal character.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2018 Lata 50cl. Cerveza delicada y elegante. Subtilmente potente. Aroma afrutado, lúpulo muy fresco. Fragancia.. en boca ligera, sabrosa, buen amargor, otra vez elegante. Ejemplo de como sacar maximo partido lupuloide sin recurrir a altas graduaciones

Can. Pours a hazy golden colour. Short white head. Tropical fruit aroma. Guava and passion fruit. Very bitter taste, vegetal, fruit seed, marmalade. Aroma was the highpoint, not feeling the taste quite as much.

Can at home, from DeBierkonig, 24th December 17. This is not as fresh as I would like, canned 25th July 17. Any way pours an orange beer, large head, good lacing. Aroma is pine, floral. Taste is floral, citra hop comes through well, light bitterness, marmalade, soft carbonation. Really easy drinking and great for the extreme low ABV
