16oz can (canned Nov 2015) at Le Trappiste Brugge Feb2017....bit old to still be serving this canned stout maybe? - Drinkable hazelnut molasses on a thin sweet stout frame make for thin, slightly metallic near-sessioning. Mineral edges going into soy, touch of Worcestershire sauce, refined cane sugar. Probably carries more lush heft when sourced more freshly, although the straightforward recipe is what it is...

Appearance: Deep black brown. Thin ring of tan bubbles. Nose: Medium dark roasted malt. Aspects of toasted cereals. Hints of chocolate. Taste: Medium roasty. Malt forward. Hints of cocoa and oats. Body: Medium to fuller, creamy. Parting thoughts: a decent stout. Texturally akin to a milk stout. Interestingly enough the label notes that it needs to be refrigerated. Mine wasnt while shipped across the country. I wonder if that caused any degredation in quality.

Kolor: Czarny, nieprzejrzysty.
Piana: Beżowa, drobno ziarenkowa, nietrwała. Nie chciała czekać zbyt długo. Stoczyła się w dł do minimalistycznego łańcuszka. Zerowe zdobienia na krawędziach Craft Master One. Drobny łańcuszek pod koniec degustacji utonął w głębokiej czerni trunku.
Zapach: Aromat jest super. Pierwsze sugestie zapachowe zbliżają trunek do jakiegoś lekkiego Imperialnego Stouta. Mamy tutaj pokaźną paloność, dużo czekolady deserowej, pralinki, kawę z mlekiem i delikatną słodką wanilię. Po ogrzaniu wychodzą ciemne owoce i minimalny sos sojowy.
Smak: W smaku zrwnoważone, bogate i co najważniejsze nieprzesadnie słodkie. Czuć paloność, odrobinę chlebowej skrki, karmel, czekoladę deserową i dużą porcję świeżo zaparzonej kawy. Nuty mleczne przypominają cukierki krwki i mleczno-śmietankowe cukierki Werthers Original. Z tyłu odrobina orzechw i kapka wanilii. Rover Truck ma gęstą, oleistą teksturę i kremową konsystencję. Goryczka jest zaznaczona, a sam finisz lekko palony. Umiarkowana, do wysokiej pełnia. Gładki, kremowy, bardzo pijalny Sweet Stout.
Wysycenie: Niskie, już praktycznie średnie.
Wspaniały, bogaty Sweet Stout. Nic dodać nic ująć. Aksamitny, płpełny w smaku, tylko odrobinę goryczkowy i dobrze ułożony. Dużo tutaj akcentw czekolady deserowej, karmelu, kawy z mlekiem, śmietankowych cukierkw Werthers Original, wanilii oraz skrki chlebowej. Piwo ma świetne predyspozycje, żeby zostać wyznacznikiem stylu. Rover Truck kupiony został w Mikkeller Webshop w cenie 60 DKK.

16oz can. Im usually not a fan of sweet stouts however this is really quite good. Nice sweet cocoa powder and maybe some nut flavors. Not very strong my any means but quite decident for the abv.

Can from Beer Gonzo. Black body with a thin tan head that slowly fades. Faint lacing. Aroma of filter coffee, fruit pudding and brown sugar. Flavour of sultanas, honey and chocolate. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Its a bit on the thin side but I loved the tangy, stewed fruit notes.

A friend told me that this was a porter, but it was way too rich for a porter. Sure enough, its a stout. And its a good all-around drinker of a stout, with solid body, good sweetness, and rich undertones. Its a bit more on the "sipper" than "drinker" scale, such is its sweet, decently heavy body. Can.

16 oz. can from Prufrockstar - thanks again, Chris! Pours an opaque coffee brown color with a small beige head that settles into a ring, leaving spots and ropes of lace in the glass. Notes of chocolate, mild roast, tobacco, subtle dark fruit, toasted sugar, and faint molasses. Medium-bodied, with modest carbonation and a smooth mouthfeel. Nice, simple, well-executed slightly sweet stout.
