Toppling Goliath has brewed some of the most approachable hoppy beers you can taste, and Tsunami is yet another ale that spotlights fruit-forward hop qualities and a superb balance. Hazy yellow-orange appearance. Tropical juice/oil hop aromatics. Dank and fruity flavors. Cannabis, nectarine, red grapefruit, tangerine, bubblegum, honeydew, and tea leaves. Crisp but mellow light-bodied feel. In my experience, it tends to like colder temperatures than many other Pale Ales. It won’t earn me any geek cred, but my best interactions with Tsunami have been straight out of the fridge and straight out of the can... on my back porch, of course. Tallboy can from Riley’s in Madison: gold pour, fluffy white head with lacing. aroma of fresh resiny hops, citrus, malts. tastes are citrus peel, grain, light spice, pine. nice soft medium palate. bitter and dry finish. well put together. ctipping (2047) - Florida, USA - JUN 21, 2017
16 oz. can. Hazy bright orange. Smells of sweet orange and a hefty resin aroma behind it. Cracker malts. Taste has the same bright orange up front, but it’s dank and herbal behind it. Resiny finish, though not a ton of bitterness. Biscuit malt backbone. Medium light. Very drinkable. Better than most of the TG stuff coming out of Lakeland. vyvvy (6470) - Florissant, Missouri, USA - JUN 9, 2017
It pours clear golden with a white head. The aroma is tropical with some caramel malt and sweetness. It has a medium body with mild carbonation. The taste has the aroma with some pine and a bit of west coast IPA. Nice. Beerhunter111 (20476) - P´Castle, GERMANY - JUN 6, 2017
Many thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours clear golden colour with a mid-sized most good lasting off-white head. Aroma of intense aromatic hops, tropical fruits, citrus. Taste of intense bitter hops, apricot, citrus, quite fruity, long bitter finish, nice!

From a 500ml can, pours a clear golden color with an off white head. The smell is toasted malt, some citrus. The taste is as it smells though more intense and a dry ending. Light+ in body with nice, fine carbonation. Erzengel (8743) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAY 25, 2017
Many thanks to Rian for sharing this can! Fresh smooth floral nose. Fresh smooth beginning, grainy hints with floral sticky hops. Not too intense but floral fruity. Bitter dry and slightly grainy aftertaste with nice floral sticky hops. Nice though as a session brew.
