Tasted from bottle. Pours a hazy gold with thick white head. Aroma is pine, breads and citrus notes. Taste is moderate to heavily bitter. Flavors of resin and floral notes with some orange, grapefruit, some mango with crackers caramel malt backbone. Awesome pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

650 mL bottle. Originally reviewed 2/10/2014. Clear orange body. Small white head. A little bit of surface wisping. Smells kinda like simcoe. Grapefruit with that garlicky aroma. Not as intense as simcoe, though. More orangey flavor, especially up front. A little bit grainy. Resiny in the back, but it’s minimal. The dank-ish simcoe flavor is gone here. Medium body. Slight astringency in the back. Minimal bitterness. I like this slightly better than Orange. Not an enormous difference, side by side I can make a distinction.

Pour out of bottle, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of slight pine, grass, lemon peel into a bit of orange, slight bready notes with a hint of floral hops. Taste was a mix of floral, earthy, grassy hops into a bit of yeast, bread, slight orange, lemon notes, finishing slightly dry, bitter

Bottle... Pours hazy and yellow with a tiny, short-lived, white head. The hop-driven nose is peppery with big-time citrus fruits and a slight armpit characteristic. Medium to full-bodied and sticky with modest carbonation. The flavor is bittersweet, featuring honey and corn sweetness. More sweet than bitter – by far. Lengthy, mostly sweet finish. Bottle shared by ctipping!

Solid fruit hops nose. Tropical fruit and citrus along with some pine. Xhop beers have been fun too try

Good aroma of malt and bitter hops. Taste is hoppy spice with some decent malt. Good stuff.

22oz bottle. Thanks to Iphonephan! March 2014 DC Tasting. Poured a yellow color with a small white head. Aroma is light malt, some very mild citrus and some decent malt notes. Flavor was sweet, mostly nondescript, but better hop character then the yellow-label.
