650 mL bottle. Originally reviewed 2/17/2014.
Hazy pale orange body. Small white head. Faint surface wisps, very little lacing, and a thin collar.
Peachy and oniony hop aroma. A little tropical. Faint grain.
Taste is less peachy. Less oniony too. More grapefruit. Still some tropical fruits. Cracker malt. Minimal bitterness.
Light. Medium carbonation.
The best of this series so far. The best aroma from the hops. arminjewell (9635) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 23, 2015
Pour out of bottle, hazy golden-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of nice orange, grapefruit, slight tropical fruit into a bit of floral hops, slight pine into a bit of bread and caramel. Taste was a mix of orange, grapefruit, and floral hops into a bit of tropical fruit, slight spicy notes into some malty bread, finishing bitter. hopscotch (11077) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 23, 2015
Bottle... Pours hazy and golden with a small, creamy, white head. The nose features apricot and grapefruit. Full-bodied with a 2%-milk mouthfeel and zippy carbonation. The flavor presents a good dose of rindy bitterness. Astringent, bone-dry finish. Hey, a good one in the XHops series. Bottle courtesy of ctipping! Rando7 (779) - Iowa, USA - APR 5, 2014
Bottle pours hazy yellow orange. Aroma citrus and pine. Taste matches - orange, citrus, pine with solid malt sweetness. Mildly bitter finish, a friend thought this was very bitter so there some individual taste here. Full palate. Tasty APA. RobertDale (6470) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - MAR 12, 2014

Bottle thanks to Nick. Pours a cloudy gold with small off white head. The aroma is strong hop and pine. Medium mouthfeel with strong dry hop and light bitterness. Good. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - FEB 2, 2014
22 oz bottle acquired in trade from my boy storminspank. Thanks, dude. Second of the current set cracked. Pours a nicce well hazed golden amber hue, some fiery amber orange glow with lively carbonation, frothy whitish head that stays as a decent full layer atop, sticks around ok and laces well enough. Nice look. Aromas are floral and citrusy, firmer lemon bite with grapefruit juice and rind, some gentle gumball, more florals, firmer dryness and bitterness meet bread, gentle straw and cleaner malt bill. Fairly fruity, good citrus base without the fruit complexity of XHops Red. Nice, fresh, pleasing, a bit powdery and soapy. Initial is lighter end of the fold in body, a bit fizzy, a bit more carbonated with citrus juice, grapefruit juice and rind meet lemon, touch of gentle tropical fruit, some melon and more lemon. Touches of florals, powder, and grass. Decent to firm bitterness hits the palate. Some orange, florals and bready malts. Lighter, fairly dry and light body makes this fairly easy going down. A firm hopping, decent bitterness, good citrus appeal. The backend is dry, a bit fuzzy, some gentle peach and citrusy grapefruit, florals, gentle soap and faint lingering fruity complexity. Lighter, nice flavor. Really solid offering from the XHops series. American hop appeal with a firm citrus element, decent tropical bent, and some nice solid bitterness without being overwhelming. Well constructed, nothing overwhelming but still quite tasty and fresh. I think the "Whoa" factor still remains with Red overall, but this ones is still very nice, tasty stuff. This one poured a semi hazy yellow color with a white head. Aroma was of miny and marshmellowy hops, I know, weird right, Flavor was miny, fruity hops. Different, but not really my type of thing.
