tenghave (404) - Taastrup, DENMARK - APR 25, 2006

ganache (6087) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 22, 2006
Bottled. Mine’s the German version, only 5.0% but with the blonde model on the label. Black pour with a bit of dark ruby shining through under light. Light brown head. Coffee aroma with a little subdued roast sweetness. Burnt toast taste with some sweetness. Long lasting aftertaste, very pleasant. A little one dimensional, but solid.

KnutAlbert (6798) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 21, 2005
Quite malty, with dried fruits - raisins - in the aroma. Quite well hopped compared to other Slovak beers. Additives on the label: E 150c, E 954 - why should they be neccessary?

Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - OCT 3, 2005
Loads of sweet malts in the nose, notes of caramel and some molasses. Very dark brown body, with a medium sized off-white head. Sweet flavor, notes of molasses, and a light burnt malt note, slightly thin finish.

Mads Langtved (2240) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - OCT 2, 2005
Syrup aroma. Very sweet and slightly metallic. Not as clean and balanced as the German Schwarzbiers. Caramel flavour.

jbrus (4988) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - SEP 11, 2005
Bottled, said 5% ABV. Aroma of chocolat and a hint lactic. Black color, light brown head, good lace. Light sweet, light bitter, hint of chocolat, bit lactic in the finish, medium body. Although just 5% is the alcohol well present.

alaskanwarren (286) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 17, 2005
Dark brown/red color. Dates and caramel aroma. Similar taste. Mostly malt on this, little-to-no hops noticable at all. Smooth taste and mouthfeel. Good dark malty beer.

Papsoe (25054) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - APR 24, 2005
UPDATED: JUN 20, 2005 (Bottle 50 cl) Bought in Germany under the name "Topvar Marina Schwarzbier" with 5,0% ABV. Dark, almost black, lightly off-white head. Very soft with some sweetness from the malts but also a lightly burned touch. 120205

oh6gdx (26485) - Vasa, FINLAND - FEB 8, 2005
Bottled, black opaque, beige nice head. Sweet caramellish aroma. Flavour is sweet and a bit smoky. The aftertaste is a bit bitter and dry. Wellbalanced beer, but lacks something in taste. Good beer to drink while being social with friends.

Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 30, 2004
Deep dark red color, little beige head. Sweet and slight caramel aroma, some dryness and alcohol can be found also. Mild carbonation comes up in start. Sweet caramel flavor, ends with dry and mildly bitter palate. Still some body missing, good beer though.
