Deep dark red color, little beige head. Sweet and slight caramel aroma, some dryness and alcohol can be found also. Mild carbonation comes up in start. Sweet caramel flavor, ends with dry and mildly bitter palate. Still some body missing, good beer though. k0mpsa (2964) - Tuusula, FINLAND - JUN 21, 2014

Slovak version, 0,5l bottle. Quite a good beer. Almost black with a head that disappears completely quite quickly. Aroma of keys in handsweat :) The taste is fulfilling, strong roasted coffee with something bittersweet that I can’t put my tongue on... The bitterness comes out stronger in the finish.

Syrup aroma. Very sweet and slightly metallic. Not as clean and balanced as the German Schwarzbiers. Caramel flavour. mmahut (1859) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JUN 2, 2014
Bottle. Dark amber body with creamy tan head. Aroma has light caramel notes, hay, malty. Taste has medium caramel profile with earthy bitterness, little astringent after taste. Body is full, high carbonation. Actually, this is pretty good for the origin. inbirraveritas (1576) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JUL 25, 2013
Bottled, 500 ml.
Ruby red/dark brown colour, big and relatively lasting beige head with thick lace.
Smell of brown sugar, butter and mild roasted malt.
The aroma contains the same escorted by brown bread, mouthfeel is slick.
Somewhat yeasty and dry finish with burnt malt and some shy hints of grassy hops.
Not bad. Dixen (1465) - Flagstaff, Arizona, USA - OCT 3, 2005
