Thick, dense beige head over deep redbrown beer. Impressive clear chocolate nose, as opening a bar of chocolate, then mineral water, dark green leaves, bread. Good dry bitterish initial flavour with a sweet undertone. Again chocolate, leafy and bready. Finishes empty, however. Human sweat warming up. Feels very carbonated; light body, slick. Impresses at first, only to loose it in the end. Ďakujem, Peter! larsniclas (7144) - Billdal, SWEDEN - JAN 23, 2004
Dark brown, white head.
Dry, hoppy and malty aroma.
Rather sweet flavour with chocolate and coffee. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 30, 2004
Deep dark red color, little beige head. Sweet and slight caramel aroma, some dryness and alcohol can be found also. Mild carbonation comes up in start. Sweet caramel flavor, ends with dry and mildly bitter palate. Still some body missing, good beer though. chmurarz (645) - Legnica POLAND, POLAND - JAN 30, 2007

Watery but otherwise quite nice Schwarzbier. Maybe a bit too sweet too? But definitely drinkable.
