Cask at Leicester Beer Festival 2012. When reading through the festival’s programme notes it was pleasing to see several breweries that have started trading in 2012. Towles is one of them and this is certainly a good start. Clear amber in colour. Tastes bittersweet - well balanced - with citrus and a relatively short finish meaning it isn’t spectacular but certainly very drinkable.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel malts. Flavour is strong malty, caramel. Indeed quite flavourful. Medium bodied.

Not big deal, not bitter or with nasty colour, but it ws just another drinkable beer without much to say about it.
