Potent. Pine sol finish. A robust amber colored ipa. Very nice. Good ipa brewery. BVery (11232) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - NOV 2, 2012
Tap at the brewpub - called "15 Year IPA" on the menu, and weighs in at 9.4% ABV. Clear orange pour with a foamy white head. Rich complex hop aroma, sharp hop bite in this. Quite good. MartinT (10037) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 24, 2012
My Bottom Line:arminjewell (9720) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - APR 20, 2015
Toffee envelops lightly citrusy hop resins in this sweetish strong ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam garnishes the misty light russet.
-Hops aren’t bright enough for my tastes in Double IPA.
-A biscuity touch is also found in this decidedly malty strong ale.
-Carbonation is fluffy, making the residual sugars feel lighter than the flavor profile alludes to.
-The resinous hop bitterness is leveled to the rest of the brew’s medium-high intensity.
From a growler.
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big pine, orange, grapefruit into some nice spice, slight grassy notes into a bit of earth. Taste was a mix of orange, grapefruit, grass and earthy notes into a bit of pine, slight bread and biscuity notes, finishing slightly dry, fairly bitter. bytemesis (8987) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - OCT 31, 2012
Tap. Pours clear amber with a medium off-white head and awesome lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, tropical fruit, and resin. Flavor is about the same - hope forward with a light sweetness. Very bitter in the body and through the finish. Medium body. Quite nice.

In short: A brutal, richly malted and aggressively hoppy golden IPA. Good palate destroyer. badgerben (5283) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - FEB 9, 2013
How: Growler, consumed fresh with Montréal friends, sent to me by oakbluff. thanks a lot Scott.
The look: Partly cloudy dark golden body topped by a small beige head.
In long: Nose is massively hoppy with lots of fruity and piney hops and also alcohol fumes. Taste has very nice toasted caramelized cereals, thick and sweet, very nice malt extraction here. Hopping is aggressive, piney and very resinous. Bitterness level is through the roof. This is truly a brutal beer, but it is a pleasant slap in the mouth. I liked this beer more than the people I shared the growler with, as usual I just laughed at their poor taste in beer, and I really don’t understand why they always say I’m too full of myself, yes all what’s inside me is mine, you guys are freaking weird if you have chunks of other people inside you.
Minnesota Winterfest 2013. Copper color with a large head. Aroma of citrus (major orange), grass and it just smells bitter. Strong bitterness in the flavor. Moderate caramel malt. northropfrye (3677) - Steinbach, Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 13, 2012
"Town Hall 15 Year IPA". A marvelous aromatic and flavourful IPA. All the typical IIPA aromas and flavours, wonderfully balanced. piscator34 (2621) - Winnipeg, Manitoba, CANADA - NOV 3, 2012
Draft sample. Pale amber in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of cut grass, pine sap, navel orange, and a blend of pale and caramel malt. Flavors are of fruity caramel, spicy and classic citrusy hops, and more pine. A leafy/herbal chunky bitterness balances out the heft provided by the malts. Not as lean as I would like from this style, but still satisfying overall. ryanfolty (2585) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - FEB 9, 2013
On tap at Winterfest 2013. Light brown pour with head. Hoppy and malty in aroma and taste.
