COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We seldom brew the American Amber style beer. In this case we did because we had a few extra hops in the cooler. Expect toasted malt with a sweet caramel finish like most amber ales. This one is loaded well with Falconer’s Flight hops in the flavor, aroma, and dry hop arena. In this amber those caramel malts fade into bright citrus aromas and flavors of these American hops.

UPDATED: APR 1, 2017 On tap from the source at Town Hall with commonshawn. Pint glass. Unsurprisingly an amber color with decent lacing and minimal off white head. Nose is not very delightful. Kind of a soapy, light caramel syrupy element. Maybe a slight fruity quality. Taste is hoppy without showing off the bitterness, pine or, citrus. They are all hidden under the weight of malt. Caramel and sugars play a role. End feels a little hasty. This doesn?t inspire me to want it again. Mild mannered in general without demonstrating anything to keep you interested. Let?s ground this falcon.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear dark orange-red pour with thin white head, aroma brought notes of grass, pine, orange into spice, caramel, toffee into some grain. Taste was a mix of grass, orange, red fruit, pine, some yeast, caramel, finishing bitter.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber orange with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has bread and caramel backed by a bit of grassy and pine hops as well. Flavor starts with grains and biscuit with a good amount of grass and a bit of pine.
