Pours a dark amber hue with a very thin white head. Aroma of malts, sweet fruits, and spices. Flavor is bready and malty with more spices, sweet fruits, plums, bananas, nuts, brown sugar, and caramel. Medium carbonation and medium body. Pretty good. ketchepillar (1199) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - JAN 3, 2010
TAstes like a homebrew without term temp control. Not good fruity esters. Plum. Cherry. Underattenuated. arminjewell (9687) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - DEC 30, 2009
Poured brown with off white head, nose is full of malty sweet with dark fruits. Taste is a bit thin, but has nice and balanced caramel and nutty malt leading into a dark fruit ending. A good abbey ale! bp (926) - New York, New York, USA - DEC 27, 2009
draft: clear dark amber with a thin frothy white head, grainy aroma, taste is grainy, some citrus, belgian yeast as well, not my kind of brew DalzAle (2037) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - DEC 21, 2009
Growler. Clear amber pour with plenty of carbonation rich aroma of plum and spices. Flavor starts with thick bready malts, brown sugar, cinnamon and peppery/light on the finish. Very good!
