Medium golden color, mostly clear. Quiet northwest hop aroma. English tastes of biscuit and crackly wheat cereals lead. Sourdough malt and dusty, almost dirty hop flavors in the finish. Medium-bodied and forgettable. IPAndy (120) - minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 14, 2007
Good malt character, very pale, very little aroma, dull finish. Hops are supposed to be limited, but I don’t get any character from them at all. My least favorite offering from Town Hall so far (but the mild sounded worse and I didn’t try it). Pigfoot (2268) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 10, 2007
Crafted to suit the request of those desiring a lighter, less hoppy, sessionable pale ale (don’t look at me), and given an unimaginative name to honor the opening of baseball season and the brewery’s proximity to the Metrodome, "Ballpark Beer" is actually a pretty solid brew, if not too exciting.
American pale malt, light caramel and wheat fills the malt bill, and the hops are Cascade, Columbus, and Fuggle.
Clear, pale apricot appearance, big, bone white head.
Lovely aromatics, plumb with those delightful PAcNW hops, good citrus, pithy and piney, some flowery, honeyed notes, as well. Bright and beautiful.
Good bitter bite up front, great blast on the tongue, then all is mellow. Sip again, and it starts new. Juicy malt, smoothness incarnate, lightish body, swift, hoppy finish. Terrific balance.
Fresh, vibrant, and definitely sessionable. It’s been awhile since the MTHB has done a regular pale ale, and their ingenuity has paid off in this one. Though I often hunger for hops and thought this would have me wanting, it turns out not to be the case. Delicious!

Gold color. A thin and light pale ale, and rather disappointing when they have several session beers in the regular rotation, and then go to the trouble of making another light beer. Some hops, clearly a pale ale, lightly bitter hoph aroma and hop flavor. robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - APR 5, 2007
Gold Color with White Skin. Sweet, Thick Grainy Malt Aroma. More of the Same on the Tongue...A Fair Amount of Hops Balance Out the Sweet Grainy Flavor Nicely. Body is Just a Little Thicker Then What You May Expect, But Adds a Little Depth to a Session Beer. Just a Nice Beer to Enjoy a Twins Game With!

A honeyish brown beer with a little white head. Very nice floral hop nose. Body is very similar with a thicker body than I expected.
