Clear apple juice body with white head. Aroma is medium sweet, lemongrass, light honey. Taste is medium sweet, honey, lemongrass, not much else. Light-medium body, some crispness. Perhaps this deserves a new entry, as the description (and earlier ratings) do not match my experience. Drake (13728) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 24, 2016
Minnesota Trip Beer #5. Keg at the brewpub, 5/7/16. Clear copper, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel, herbal hops. The taste is toasted malts, cherries, grassy hops. Medium bodied. deyholla (11600) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 10, 2010
On tap the the brewpub. Poured a clear amber orange with an off-white head that dissipated to the edges and laced slightly. Aroma consisted of notes of caramel and sweet grain with a slight biscuit and undertone of light pine. Flavor started with biscuit and caramel and had a bit of pine coming out in the finish. Tap at the brewpub. My 700th rating from MN brewers! Clear light amber pour with white head. Toffee and earthy hops. Slightly sweet. Good. arminjewell (9636) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 8, 2010
Pours red with thin white head. aroma is full of caramel and biscuity malt with some grassy hops. Taste up front is a bit lemony, grassy, earthy leading into some caramel and biscuit/bread malt with a fairly dry and bitter finish. Average ESB, nice and drinkable.

Keg @ TH. Deep Amber with a small head. Toasted brown bread. Pears, fruit leather. Flavor is moderately bitter. Peppered toast. Woodland earthiness. Medium body, soft carb. Braudog (6712) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 2, 2014
Draft at the brewpub. An amber beer with a sticky top. Malty with a bit of earthy, ruddy hop. Clean and well balanced. A good ’everday’ ale well suited for long days of drinking. (#5707, 8/31/2014) JK (6146) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - SEP 23, 2003
This has the fruit aroma of an ipa. Light red color, small head. It was served too cold and had little flavor. As it warmed there was was bitter hops, and some taste of bread in the finish. A session beer. good. badgerben (5177) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - JUL 20, 2004
Dark amber color with a mild malt aroma. The taste is very well balanced with hops and malt. A strong wood note permeates the brew. Not a fall-to-your-knees bitter, but a fine one all the same. muzzlehatch (4959) - Beloit, Wisconsin, USA - JUL 14, 2004
Sample at the brewpub. Bright medium copper, massive caramel nose; sweet, lightly oaky front, bit of vanilla in the middle, dryish finish, delicately soft body...some nice cherry-whiskey late. Rather impressive.
