On tap last trip to MN. Deep brown almost black. Smoke, roasted chili, and a tiny bit of plastic/bandaid from the chili. Flavor is briefly toasted/roasted malt and light sweetness that quickly gives way to salty smoke and pretty sharp chili flavor and acidity. Tons of residual chili burn, but in a good way. This one can almost make you sweat. Usually don’t care for the chili beers, but this was a well-crafted, gourmet-like beer.
