Draft. At Town Hall Tap. Pours a dark brown wih a light tan head. Raspberry in the nose right away with an after items of roast and chocolate. Medium rich mouthfeel. It’s like drinking a chocolate covered raspberry! I don’t know how Hoops does it but damn they nail these fruit beers. Could get a touch sweet but this is pretty money. Goblet was black with a smallish off white head. The aroma was certainly raspberry and chocolate - no question about it. The flavor struck me first as a chocolate covered Flintstone Vitamin (?). I’m not sure why I thought that, but it seemed to pervade my thoughts for some time. As things progressed, the flavor was more what I would expect, more lactic, chocolate, and the precious fruit showing through. The palate is rich and smooth. Overall, not bad.
