tap at TH, well it looks like a traditional amber, but the taste on this is horrific to me, super burnt.. unbalanced and just too much toasted malt? something just isnt right to me with this beer.

on tap at the brewery pours light amber with a medium tan head. Aroma is fruity with lots of esters and toffee. Flavor is toast and nuts with a mild roast that is very nice. Still a little bit of stone fruit and esters in the finish.

Draft. Poured into a pint glass a clear, dark copper red color with a 1 finger light tan head. Sweet caramel and light chocolate in the nose. Some roast as well. Starts with a sweet caramel and toffee flavor that builds up to a roasty dark chocolate flavor. Some dark fruit notes. Medium mouthfeel. The abv doesn’t show at all. Some lace. Lingering bitterness.
