Clear yellow golden color with a small white head.
Sweet malty aroma. The flavor is sweet malty with some sugary notes. Lagery.
Un-Muzzling Olde Muzzlehatch Ratings, #53. Draught pint at the brewpub, August 2008. Bright gold with a fair head that dies to almost nothing quickly...aroma is a mixture of dry, musty, old grasses and weedy and some newer, fresher stuff - like new-mown hay that’s been pulled off a spot of last year’s grasses that have half-turned to humus...juicy and grassy-bitter in the body, light woody-toasty character, nicely balanced with excellent pils malts...full and pretty close to perfectly carbonated. Good one to go out on as this was the last trip I made to TH (at this point); sure hope to get back again and wouldn’t mind seeing this one on for another go-round. miyauchi38 (1117) - chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 1, 2015

Tap at the brewpub - clear gold - nicely executed, clean example of the style - perhaps a bit drier than usual for the style, but the clean malt richness is certainly there, and the saaz character is spicy, grassy, and pleasant - a slight bit of acidity to it which makes it bit less smooth than it ought to be, but still quite good. Beer flight at the Brewery/Brewpub -- This was a nice clean lager. Slight esters. Easy drinker.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light orange with a thin white head. Aroma of pale bready malts, light fruits, cracker. Flavor of lots of bready malts, cracker, lemon, and light sweetness in the finish. What I’d expect from a solid dortmunder.

Part of a flight at the taproom. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Pretty sweet upfront with a clean bitter finish. A hint of hops balances this nicely. Could session this all day. RussianDragon (877) - - AUG 24, 2014
On tap at Town Hall. Pours a a clear bright fizzy yellow, nearly headless. Aroma is sweet corn and yeast, overall simple. Flavor is same with bright carbonation and mild fruity finish. Prufrockstar (2259) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - AUG 19, 2014
Sampler at Town Hall. Clear pale gold. Honey, sulphur, some mineral. Light, crisp, easy-drinking. Light body, very pleasant.
