Pours dark red with solid lacing white head. Aroma of pine, sweet citrus and caramel. Taste is sweet caramel, citrus with orange, pine and a bitter finish. Good stuff. kbutler1 (1381) - Minnesota, USA - APR 20, 2011
Draft. Served at Town Hall in a pint glass. Pours a clear, red caramel color with a 1 finger head of ligh tan. Really nice hoppy nose of orange rind with slight pine. The hops profile is apparent in the flavo right off the bat with a slight sweet start that pretty much stays the whole time but you get a building hop bitterness. Bitterness lingers on slightly. Medium mouthfeel. Nice lac as well. WAY too easy drinking! DalzAle (2038) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - APR 12, 2011
Tap. Clear amber pour, plenty of lasting carbonation and a very malty/creamy and plenty hoppy aroma. Flavor is also slightly creamy malt, very spicy hops and slightly fruity bitter orange and a little pineapple sweetness on the finish. This is the closest thing I’ve had to Ballast Point’s Tongue Buckler, just amazing!
