Growler shared by beastiefan2k. Pours a pretty, clear, golden orange with a dense, creamy, ecru head that leaves behind a ladder of lace as it diminishes. The nose is of grapefruit, papaya and light floral notes. Light to medium-bodied, soft and slick with a dry, bitter finish. The flavor is a bright, "green" herbal and citric hops backed by enough pale malt to keep the hops at bay, marginally. This is a very different and tasty brew. The folks in the Twin Cities are truly lucky to have a brewpub like this one in their midst. Thanks again for sharing this with us, Eugene. pantanap (3367) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - NOV 27, 2008
growler from incutrav. huge thanks!.... pours a dark semi-clear amber brown with a fluffy off-white head....
aroma of really green, fresh of the vine hops with a sweeter pineapple and malt backbone...
flavors have a good balance of malt but the hops play a predominant role. tropical fruits up front and then a decent degree of a bitterness to finish. good level of carbonation and pretty lively mouthfeel.

Growler with thanks to BeastieFan2K,
pours a clear golden amber with a beautiful fluffy cream colored head, great lacing and retention. Aroma is dominated by fresh grass, citrus, and floral notes. Flavor is somewhat herbal, with more citrus and grass also around. A very nice, green hops presence makes this an enjoyable fresh hop beer. Thanks for the chance to try Eugene! beastiefan2k (4112) - HdG (past: NYC, KS, Rain City), Maryland, USA - OCT 29, 2008
Pint pour @ the brewpub. Comes to the table with a strong, fluffy, pillow-y, beautiful head. When it fades the lacing is super sticky. Aroma is, as advertised, ’fresh hop’ with lightly green, lightly sweet, and lightly resiny hops. The cascades come off beautiful. Aroma has some bitterness coming off of it as well. Taste has a bit of that caramel maltiness but not strong enough to make it cloying or too sweet. Plenty of hops and very drying aftertaste. Its a damn good all hop beer that’s not coming out of California. chindong (10) - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 26, 2008
Had the day before Darkness day. Nicely spicy and extremely bitter. A little one-dimensional, but I like that in this style of beer.

Enjoyed at Town hall, night before Darkness day. Absolutely stunning Cascade aroma, it would be hard to improve on this, taste was also overwhelmingly cascade, bitterness was nearly overpowering, for many this would be over the top,but for me,pure heaven kosko20 (352) - Bemidji, Minnesota, USA - OCT 26, 2008
Pour is nice gold with minimal white head. Aroma is huge cascade hops, citrus dominant. Flavor is much of the same with a decently balanced caramel malt. Bruising the palate with bitterness but a little astringency that takes away from the goodness. I happened to be at the brewpub when they added those 200 lbs of Cascade hops. [Tap] at Town Hall. Pours a clear gold with a very fluffy off white head that left some nice lacing. Aroma is loaded with dry hopped cascades. Lots of citrus and grapefruit notes, with just a hint of malt in the background. Flavor is strikingly bitter, but not overdone. Loads of citric hops in the flavor and are fairly well balanced by caramelly malt. Lingering bitterness on the finish toes the line on being over the top, but doesn’t cross it. gearbike (512) - West Bloomfield, Michigan, USA - OCT 19, 2008
On tap at pub. It is fresh and it is hoppy. That is all it is but it is more than enough. Tastes like you are drinking the hop straight off the vine. tyler_mn (2464) - SLP, Minnesota, USA - OCT 17, 2008
Poured fresh out ’da growler... hop cone and all. Intense, spicy, fruity and green aroma. Cannabis, pine bark, earthy hops. Bursting with fresh hops. Malt? What? Pours a firey amber with a dense off white head that sticks all the way down the glass. Bracingly bitter in the intense hop attack. Pine resin. Spicy and bitter. Earthy. Like a meadow circled by pine after a summer rainfall. This one really needed to open up. Rich, thick and oily body with an intensely long, spicy and bitter finish. Yeah... it’s fairly one dimensional, but holy shit, it’s delicious.
