Pours hazy orange with off white head, smell is a bit hoppy and a bit sweet. Taste up front is a bit of hops with a hint of blueberry that finishes a bit sweet with some bitter. This is how fruit beer should be in my opinion, mostly beer with a bit of fruit with it. GeneralGao (3614) - Iowa City, Iowa, USA - NOV 20, 2006
Draught at the brewpub. Clear light brown-orange color with white head that laced the glass. Pleasant blueberry and malty caramel aroma and flavor with a touch of sweetness on the tongue. The blueberry wasn’t subtle, but not overpowering. Pretty tasty. Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JAN 7, 2010
Growler, courtesy GoT. Pours a clear, dark, amber-copper color with a small, foamy, beige tinted head. A sudsy wash of lace mostly rejoins the body, leaving trace flares and wet spots behind. The aroma shows sweet, bready, caramel malt up front, followed by a light dosing of floral hops and some sweet blueberry. Flavor same fruity sweetness
floral hop sweet toast malt some fresh cereal grain. It definitely tastes like a pale ale first, fruit beer second, though the sweetness of the caramel-bread malts and the berries just proves too much for me, clashing with the floral hop character and just seeming kind of messy. Medium in body with most of its weight coming from the sugary malt, it seems overly sticky, and even the even-keeled carbonation can’t save it. Not my cup of tea, really. dchmela (3078) - Orlando, Florida, USA - DEC 4, 2009
Growler courtesy God of Thunder. Pours a nice cherry brown color. Very nice blueberry and malt aroma, not a blueberry muffin but well blended. Taste is smooth and malty with a hint of blueberry in the taste. Good stuff. robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - APR 23, 2007
Light Amber Color with Creamy Head. Blueberry Aroma. Nice Balanced Blueberry Notes...Hoppy, Lightly Dry Ending. Not Quite as Smooth a Transition from Sweet Blueberry to Hoppy Dry Ending...But a Good Balance in Either Case.

Thanks to Godofthunder for sharing. Spicy blueberries with resiney hops in the back ground. Pours a dark amber with a thin white head. Blueberries and citrus hops, hints of pine, an earthy bitterness with caramel malts notes. Not bad. Pigfoot (2268) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - DEC 6, 2006
Clear amber hue, fine 1/2" of creamy froth atop.
Blueberry aroma is right on top, caramel malt right below, a pleasing mix.
Smooth entrance on the palate, sweet, malty, and just enough hops on top to leaven it. Easy-drinking, light to medium bodied. A malty pale ale, with a whisper of fruit. Tasty, and smooth.
As drinkable as the best of Town Halls beer’s, just not a powerhouse in flavor and mouthfeel. Nothing wrong with that.

UPDATED: SEP 9, 2007 Light golden pour. Aroma of blueberry pancakes and cotton candy. A dash of nutmeg and blueberry granola cereal in its flavor, with a dry, grainy finish like sawdust. Plainly strange, and a bit too far gone as a novelty. Awkward pale malt and fruit interplay. hellomynameis (877) - Mayer, Minnesota, USA - NOV 21, 2006
This smelled exactly like blueberry pancakes.Head a thick fluffy head of a slightly off white colour. The flavour is hard to explain...it simply reminds me of a arn with fresh crushed grains invading your mouth and nostrils. Odd....it has a drying effect and has a lingering aftertaste fo the same. undsioux7 (876) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - DEC 3, 2006
From growler. Pours a brown/orange color with a small white head. Looks great.
Aroma of blueberry, hops, and a bit of spice. A hint of blueberry in the taste with something else I can’t quite get. Another nice solid beer from Townhall.
