Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of lemon peel, grain, biscuit, some vanilla, honey, pepper. Taste was a mix of grass, lemonade, bread, biscuit, touch of spice, finishing dry, slightly sweet.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellowish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of straw with some light grass to give a crispness. Flavor has sweet grain and a bit of biscuit with crisp grass in the finish.

Yellow pour at GABF. Crisp, hoppy aroma with some tropical fruit, roasted grains. Flavor is lightly grainy, light hops, sweetness on the finish.

Straw colored pour dense white head with nice lacing. My first thought was it smelled like an old bavarian beer. A light floral distinctly german hop smell over some sweet malts. Well coated creamy palate. Sweet after swallow thoughts of honey the front is a swet floral hop hints of perfume. A great "double pils" easy to drink, clean, refreshing and delicious.

Town Hall Hopfen Ublich: Approximately 1 oz. pour on tap at the Autumn Brew Review in Minneapolis on 9-15-12. Pale gold. Somewhat sweet but mostly dry taste. Forgettable and disappointing but not bad. I was just expecting more flavor and a stronger hops effect. 7/3/7/3/13

Tap @ Town Hall. Pours a clear yellow appearance with a small white head. Mango, grapefruity, fruity hoppy, a bit grassy aroma. A touch buttery, mango, pineapple, light piney hoppy flavor.

On tap at Town Hall. Clear straw yellow with a white crown. Aroma is dank, sweaty and musty with some nobility to it and some sweet malt along with perhaps the bottom of my shoe. Taste is a bit dank as well with pale malt, citrus and noble and mild bitterness on the back end.

Pours a very light yellow color with a floral scent. Has an ok lager taste with a bit of malt.

Tap. Clear light golden yellow pour with a clingy white head. Sweatsock like pils nose. Medium light palate. Taste is dominated by fresh hops, but this seems bitter over flavor for the most part. Not loving this one but this also isn’t really my favorite style.
