Had a nice golden color with a short white head. Had a rather pleasant bitterness, but it was rather close to being too much for me. mattyb83 (737) - Minnesota, USA - MAY 28, 2011
Tap. Deep copper color with a medium sized frothy white head. Plenty of caramel in the aroma. Nice orange notes too. Taste is well balanced sweetness from the malt and citrus. Caramel, orange, a touch of grapefruit, and a nice mild bitter finish. Medium Light body. Good and refreshing. arminjewell (9676) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAY 26, 2011
Pours dark orange-yellow with white head, aroma has big notes of pine, resin, some grass with a touch of sweet bread. Taste is loaded with piny and resinous hops, a slight sweet bread with an oily, bitter pine filled finish. Good stuff. badgerben (5188) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - MAY 21, 2011
Gold color with a large head. Light floral/piney hop aroma. Big, citrusy flavor. Plenty of floral notes and some vinous character. Light caramel malt hints. Dry finish. Some herbal hops come out as it warms. The only thing lacking for me was the aroma, but based on the other ratings, perhaps my nose was just in a funk that day. from tap at Town Hall 5/19/11 as part of MN Craft Beer Week. Think of this beer as Masala Mama without the malt getting in the way. STRONG hop aroma assualts your nose with beautiful citrus mango pineapple and nice acidity. mouthfeel is pretty good considering the lack of sweetness. Taste is all hops, fresh and bitter and slightly resinous, both on the front and and on the finish. Yet another excellent IPA from TH.

Draft. Poured into a pint glass a clear medium colored copper color with a 1 finger light tan head. Nice pungent aroma of hops in the nose of citrus, grapefruit, and mixed with a slight tropical note. Medium mouthfeel. Orange and mango upfront with a building amount of bitterness. Bitterness lingers for a while in the back of the throat. Another great pale from Town Hall. My only watch out is that it may be a bit too hoppy for folks that don’t like hoppy pales. Nice lace left on the glass.
