growler... medium amber with a nice off white head and cap, looks great, especially for an older growler... the nose is weak but really true to a nice macaroon, lots of smooth coconut... tastes pretty sweet, like a macaroon, interesting and worth trying esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 3, 2011
On tap at the GTMW 2011. Deep amber with a thin tan head. Aroma of coconut, bready malt and caramel. Taste of heavy coconut, light fruit, caramel, toasted malt and mild hops. Finishes up sweet and dry. arminjewell (9676) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - JUL 9, 2011
On tap, pours clear orange with thin off white head. Aroma has notes of coconut, toasted notes, some sugary cookie notes, bready notes in there as well. Taste is like drinking a macaroon, very ncie and smooth with notes of sugar cookie, nice coconut and a slight bready biscuity note. Good stuff! BVery (10516) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - JUN 30, 2011
Tap. Gold orange pour with a smallish cream white head. Aroma is coconut and bread. Toasted coconut, a touch of caramel and bread, and a touch of sweet chocolate late. Smooth mouthfeel but not terribly heavy. Nice brew. kbutler1 (1381) - North Carolina, USA - JUN 29, 2011
Draft. Poured into a pint glass a clear golden color with a slight white head. Coconut aroma not unlike the aroma of a good suntan lotion while sitting on the beach. Sweet start with a building flavor of coconut that really comes into it’s own at the end. Not overly chocolatey but you get a slight chocolate flavor at the end. Medium mouthfeel. Some nice head retention. Overall a tasty coconut beer.
