Tap, as part of their Barrel Aged Encore - huge foamy head, beautiful medium clear Amber color, big tart cherry aroma which is definitely present in the flavor as well, good complex flavors of oak, alcohol, and mild citrus, good Belgian yeasty finish, very good overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Growler... Pours clear and copper with no head. The nose is malty and toasty with cherries, methanol and/or a chemical astringent. Full-bodied and syrupy with Key West carbonation. The flavor is tart and fruity with a malty backbone. Finishes tangy, tannic and dry. Growler courtesy of ctipping!

My Bottom Line:
Cherries, caramel and mild bourbon get along quite well in this tart sipper.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam sinks into the bright red.
-Carbonation is very low; not sure if its the growlers fault or if it is by design.
-Acidity levels are just high enough to offset the sugars.
-Cherries are perhaps too intense for me to absolutely love this brew.

Growler.

32 oz. growler. Deep reddish amber. Strong bourbon aroma. Lots of sugars, too. Cherry. Belgian yeast. And some booze. Tastes much more of cherry than it smells. Nutty maltiness. Oak. Bourbon. Interesting, but the cherry is a little cloying. Boozy and kinda heavy. Not something Id drink a lot of.

Growler, pours a hazy orange amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out loads of whiskey barrels, caramel, bready notes and booze. Flavour is kind of tart, with caramel, bready notes and sour stone fruits. Seems a little off but still very pleasant. Okay.

Growler thanks to Chris shared at RBSG Grand Tasting. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is strong bourbon, vanilla, cherry, wood. Medium mouth, caramel, candy sugar, vanilla, light booze, very good.
