Growler pour (thanks bro!). Pour is copper and clear with a kahki tight soapy head that fades to film. Aroma is sweet fruity malt like blue and raspberries. Taste is faint mild bitter fruit and malt some what funky aftertaste. Palate is thin and fizzy with a bitter chaulky finish. LamarBurton (376) - California, USA - APR 30, 2011
From a growler. Pours a dark copper, slightly hazy, with a light tan head, quite large even with a slow and light pour. Very nice lacing. Aroma is nice. Sweet fruits, slight tannins, light sweet malt. Quite nice. Flavor is not great. Odd mix of slightly metallic and bitter malts, with an odd raspberry seed finish. Really doesn’t do it for me at all. Slight fruit at the end, but not enough to redeem this from the off flavors present. Really quite a bummer

Draft. Poured into a pint glass a dark reddish copper color with a 1 1/2 finger light tan head. Fruity aroma in the nose with a mix of both raspberry and slight blueberry, although I would say the raspberry is more prevalent. Light/medium mouthfeel. The taste seems watered down compared to the smell with a mildly sweet start of fruit with some bitterness towards the end. The bitterness seems slightly out of place to me. This is one of those beers where you wish the taste was like the aroma and unfortunately it’s not for this one. There aren’t many TH beers I don’t really like but this one fell a little short for me. Nice lace on the glass.
