ABR 2008. Bourbon in the aroma and flavor, which for be generally means I won’t like it. Some malt in there as well, and the bourbon isn’t completely overpowering, even if I don’ care for it. Other than that, I would describe this as a mid quality porter.

Autumn Brew Review 2008. First beer of the festival! Dark brown color with no head. Vanilla, oak and a bit of apple on the nose. Roasty malt and toasted oak flavor. Chalky mouthfeel that seeps into the taste a bit. Solid.
