rosenbergh (11653) - Tampere, FINLAND - OCT 26, 2016
Draught at the Town Hall Brewery, Minneapolis, MN.
Clear golden color with a small white head. Mild sweet malty aroma. Sweet malt, mild dryness and some almond notes. Märzeny.

deyholla (11900) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 21, 2015
Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear golden orange with a white head that dissipates to the edges quickly. Aroma is full of wet grains with a bit of a bread note and a light must. Flavor has grain and a hint of nuttiness with a strong earthy backbone.

jackl (8271) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 21, 2015
Keg @ Town Hall. Amber pour with a small white head. Nose is a bit toasty. Pretty nutty. Some plum and brown sugar. Taste is nicely balanced. Toasted bread. Light grassy meadow. Soft sweetness. Very drinkable. Light body, active carb. Very good.

3.2
phaleslu (10453) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 20, 2012
On draft at the brewpub, served in a seasonal sampler. Pours a clear amber-orange color with a small white head. Notes of toasted malts, straw, toffee, crackers, and chocolate. Doesn’t hit any of those notes too solidly, though. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. So-so marzen.

3.7
XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - OCT 19, 2012
Has some nice grain and sweet toffee scents. Taste is really sweet and fruit like notes, some malty backbone. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

JK (6230) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - OCT 6, 2012
Draught at Town Hall tap. Copper color. This is a traditional oktoberfest with high quality. Some caramel and lots of malt. Very drinkable, and I did not know the abv was so high.

jmikolich (1477) - North Ridgeville, Ohio, USA - OCT 2, 2012
on tap at THT 1Oct2012 Not enough sweetness for me in this, the grain and burnt toffee flavors dominate

3.6
esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 20, 2011
On tap at Town Hall. It was beer in a glass but my scribble-scratches were so bad I have no clue what it looked like. Aroma of lightly roasted Munich malts, toffee and mild bready malt. Taste of roasted malt, toffee, light chocolate and grains. Above average for the style.

3.5
portableparty (2366) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 2, 2011
Glass from growler. Pours copper with a kahki foamy head that fades. Aroma is malty with some spice and clove. Taste is again malty caramel and spice with subtle bitterness. Palate is medium and kinda chewy which finished dry.

3.3
BVery (10711) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - OCT 1, 2011
Tap. Clear amber pour with a small soapy off-white head. Nice nose of caramel malts. Lighter but smooth palate. Taste is a not-bold yet rich caramel, with some earthy elements. Nice Octoberfest.
