On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a light red hue and a near white head that dissipates to the edges and laces. Aroma has lots of bread and grains with a hint of caramel supporting. Flavor is similar with a combination of bread, grains and a hint of caramel. XmnwildX12 (2079) - Farmington, Minnesota, USA - MAR 16, 2013
On tap at the brewery, amber pour with a bit of white head. Scent is all toasted malt and taste is similar, not much else going on.

Man, it was confusing to figure out which one of Town Hall’s Irish Ales this was. There are at least two other Irish red ales in the database but they have no new ratings since 2007 and 2008. Anyway, bsuedekum opened this growler, which he got from birchstick- thanks, Blake and Jon! Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. Carbonation seems to have held up well. Very toasty, malty nose- chocolate and caramel, dust, and some grass. The flavor is equally toasty, malty, sweet, and dusty. Light-medium bodied, with a malty mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Found this to be a really solid example of the style. Dixonian (1562) - Plano, Texas, USA - APR 10, 2012
On cask and tap @ the brewery.
Reddish brown brew with a creamy off-white head. Nose is all malt - bready, caramel, and slightly toasted. Some grassy hop flavor with lots more malt and some toffee. unclemike (3121) - Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA - MAR 30, 2012
growler courtesy of co-worker Pours a reddish-brown copper with a lasting white foamy head. Aroma is understated: grainy with faint notes of smoke and spice and a toasty/bready overtone Smooth and easy on the palate malty sweetness balanced... not too sweet Light toasted character..some fruity flavours with a subdued citric finish.

Pours clear orange, small white head. Aroma is grain, chalk, soap, some toffee. Taste is chalky, soapy, slightly wet grain. Not my favorite. badgerben (5171) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - APR 11, 2009
Dark copper/brown color with a medium head. Grainy aroma. Strong grain flavor, plenty of caramel and biscut. Lightly buttery taste.
